Thanks for your post.  I heard very often people talking about Hemp CBD and marijuana…I was always confused with the THC…now if I understand correctly THC is found in the marijuana but not in the hemp…Am I right? And CBD is found in Hemp and marijuana.  I guess with all the anxiety that people are going through right now, this will help to relax right?

    • Red Zar

Hi Carole. CBD and THC are both found in hemp and marijuana. Hemp contains more CBD than THC, about 0.3%, not enough to make you psychoactive or high. Marijuana contains less CBD; more THC, enough to make you high.

Yes hemp CBD can help alleviate stress; much needed during this stressful times.

Aloha and thank you for sharing this great info on CBD.

Personally I’ve been using CBD since 2016 and I love it.

At first, I was expecting to get high as you would with THC, but soon learned that’s not it’s purpose.

I did feel a lot better afterwards though and continue to use it to this day!

Will definitely recommend your site to someone looking for info on CBD.

    Hi Red Zar,

I have perused your website this afternoon–the video was informative and you’ve shared interesting and useful information on Hemp CBD oil. In fact, I followed the link at the bottom of your article and purchased some sleep spray for my daughter who suffers with insomnia!

Several years ago, I fell and broke the bones in my left foot. Miraculously, it healed while in cast for 14 weeks waiting for surgery. But the doctor predicted I would deal with arthitis for the rest of my life. He was right :C

Then, just 2 years ago, I had an accident and fractured my left knee. It, too, is arthritic. As a result of these injuries, I have had many poor nights with little rest, been forced to quit jogging, and come home from a long day at work every evening in great pain. The medications that relieve some of my discomfort also cause side effects, such as stomach ulcer, upset stomach/heartburn, elevated blood pressure, kidney and liver problems, and ringing in ears. Yuck!

I have decided that CBD oil, rub on and creams are MY best solution controlling the arthitis pain. Like you, I’ve seen products all over the place–everyone wants to be an expert. But I need to purchase my supplies from a solid, reputable source. CTFO products are made in America, organically grown, cruelty-free, and documented. I really like that!

I am a memory care director in a large facility for people with dementia. I would like to refer families to CTFO products that will best treat symptoms of dementia, including agitation, depression, anxiety, fear, poor appetite and sleep. Are you familiar with using CBD oil for dementia? What do you think?

    • Red Zar

      Hi Tamara,

First off, I’d like to congratulate you for joining my circle of CTFO. And thanks for your purchase too.

Since you are a Memory Care Director, I will address that question about dementia and CBD. I must admit I am not a doctor. As far as medicine is concerned you are a better authority than me. However, I found from my research and I quote, “CBD Oil Benefits & Effects for Alzheimers & Dementia : First, Cannabidiol (CBD) is a natural antioxidant, anti-inflammatory and is a neuro-protector amongst many of its other attributes.” Furthermore, “Since CBD is non-psychoactive and works with receptors within the brain, studies show results that CBD can help with dementia symptoms“.

I also learned that CBD works well in maintaining homeostatis our endocannabinoid system. Simply put CBD has the ability to stabilize the physiological as well as the nervous system.

My mother-in-law suffers from insomnia too. She takes the CBD oil drops though, 500mg; .75ML dropped under her tongue. She is very happy about it giving her longer time sleeping than before. I will tell her to try the sleep spray which I believe is more convenient than the dropper.

I agree with you that pain medications results in many side effects. In fact opioids is an epidemic now; having more addicts than ever. I am glad you share the same concern.

Again thank you and congratulations. Looking forward to hear from you more about your new business endeavor.

      Best regards,

      Red Zar

Thank you very much for such a great review, actually this is my first time to hear about CBD oil. • Cynthia

Thank you for your post. To be honest, I have been avoiding all the “propaganda” and “hype” about hemp oil because I just assumed it was the new fad that would die with time. I also was very uneducated about what it really was, and just assumed that hemp was equivalent to marijuana.

For some reason, you sight intrigued me to watch the video. Maybe because I felt watching a video was less time consuming and easier, for something I really did not think I would ever consider purchasing. Boy have I ever more wrong. I loved the video – it was concise but very educational. In fact, I can not believe I did not know this until now.

Thank you so much for opening up my mind about hemp oil and all its health benefit. It is nothing about feeling “high”!

    • Red Zar

Hi Cynthia. Thank you for your honest opinion. Indeed it was the black propaganda that tainted the benefits of hemp especially its CBD content. It is all about big business and protectionism. The paper industry succeeded in its smear campaign to the detriment of hemp farmers and consumers. Misinformation was so rampant and aggressive to cause us to believe that hemp and marijuana are the same. Although both belong to the same family and both contains CBD and THC (that which makes one psychoactive or high), hemp has more CBD than THC (less than 0.3% – not enough to make you high); marijuana has less CBD and more THC. That’s the reason why marijuana has to be prescribed.

From my point of view, CBD oil is made by extracting CBDfrom the cannabis plant, then diluting it with a carrier oil like coconut or hempseed oil. It’s gaining momentum in the health and wellness world, with some scientific studies confirming it may ease symptoms of ailments like chronic pain and anxiety.

From the preview above one could see how important it is to be used

    • Red Zar

Thanks Evans. You are right about the momentum. But FDA is very moderate in its endorsement. So far FDA has approved just a single CBD-based medication. “EPIDIOLEX is a prescription medicine that is used to treat seizures associated with Lennox-Gastaut syndrome or Dravet syndrome in patients 2 years of age and older.”

Do I see big pharma joining the band wagon? There is no denying that CBD works.

Hey nice article you have there. When I am using CBD oil, I normally puts it under my tongue because when you put oil under your tongue it is absorbed directly into the blood vessels. Because the vessels there are very close to the surface, it allows the CBD’s journey to the bloodstream to be quick and uneventful.
