What Is The Best CBD Oil For Pain

Before we talk about what is the best CBD oil for pain, let us digress.

What causes pain? Pinpointing the real cause of pain could help in the diagnosis and ultimately easing if not curing pain. If pain can be eased; is there a cure after all?

What is PAIN?

Pain is a distressing feeling often caused by intense or damaging stimuli. The International Association for the Study of Pain’s widely used definition defines pain as ‘an unpleasant sensory and emotional experience associated with actual or potential tissue damage, or described in terms of such damage’. In medical diagnosis, pain is regarded as a symptom of an underlying condition.” ~ Wikipedia

healthline.com defines pain as “a general term that describes uncomfortable sensations in the body. It stems from activation of the nervous system. Pain can range from annoying to debilitating, and it can feel like a sharp stabbing or a dull ache. Pain can also be described as throbbing, stinging, sore, and pinching. Pain can be consistent, can start and stop frequently, or can appear only under some conditions. People respond to pain differently. Some people have a high tolerance for pain, while others have a low tolerance. For this reason, pain is highly subjective.

Pain is measured in scale of 1 to 10, the lowest being the least and the highest being the extreme painful. Even with this standard of measurement, the feeling of pain is still subjective. What is level 5 of pain may not be true to others. Due to the shortcoming in the exact pain measurement system, it is difficult to exact the dosage appropriate to treat any condition of pain.

Do medications help?

There are different medications for treatment of different pains. There are medications for pains caused by arthritis, sciatic nerve, headache, neck and shoulder, injury, illness, etc; you name it. Do these medications treat the very root cause of the pain? Time immemorial arthritis has been treated by all kinds of medications. And so with headache. And yet it appears that the pain is only eased away and not really cured. The medications give comfort to ease the pain and does not address or cure the pain.

What could be the reason why pain medications serve to ease pain only in some cases? And not cure it.

Endocannabinoid System

Let us pause for a moment and delve into the human body’s Endocannabinoid System.

The endocannabinoid system (ECS) is a group of endogenous cannabinoid receptors located in the mammalian brain and throughout the central and peripheral nervous systems, consisting of neuromodulatory lipids and their receptors.” ~ Wikipedia.

Furthermore, “The endocannabinoid system is a complex route that is spread throughout the entire human body. This system contains cannabinoids, or simply put, chemical compounds in the cannabis plant that bind to certain receptors in the body.”

In conjunction with the endocannabinoid system is the word homeostatis. “Homeostasis or homoeostasis is the property of a system in which variables are regulated so that internal conditions remain stable and relatively constant”. ~ Wikipedia. In other words, for the human body to function properly, every elements in it must be balanced. An imbalance can cause inflammation and/or pain.

Since the measurement of pain is subjective, let me speak about my chronic shoulder pain. I have seen quite a few chiropractors and received almost all kinds of bone manipulations. The pain always comes back. I took many pain medications and a few opioids to no avail. What came to my enlightenment is when I read about endocannabinoid system and homeostasis. Such knowledge opened my mind and prodded me to look into CBD.

There is no product out there that helps in balancing our body’s system. Maintaining an ideal body equilibrium has been a challenge since time immemorial. As we age and as we feel the bad effects of our bad practices, the best of our body just wanes away. The only hope is to bring back the same homeostasis that we were born with. One of the best thing to do is improve it by taking hemp cbd oil.

After trying CBD for just two weeks, my left shoulder pain diminished from 8 to 2 level. There are times that I don’t feel any pain at all. The pain comes back once in a while but the level that it goes up is 5 which for me is tolerable.

The best CBD Oil for pain

I started with Full Spectrum CBD Drops – 300 mg. For me it is kind of pricey. Instead of paying as a guest customer, I signed up as an Associate for free. This way I enjoy the Preferred  price which is about 20% lesser than the Retail price. My initial dosage was 5 drops for a week and increased it to 7 drops. CBD is working fine for me. If you tried CBD, please let me know your experience here. This is the best CBD hemp oil for pain that I have ever used.
